Amita Patel – Advanced Beauty Therapist,  Master Brow Artist & Trainer

In 2008 Amita played a major role in formulating training techniques for HD Brows with her sister Nilam Patel, the brainchild behind the concept. Amita was a head trainer for the company, moving away from the brand 5 years ago. Amita now runs her own extensive training course, adding her own unique style and techniques, advancing with the trends of the booming brow industry.

“I wanted to offer therapists a way of creating a good brow shape without having to be brand specific, allowing the therapist to use a mixture of products they prefer.

I have developed my own product for brows and lashes which is a 100% natural, the ‘Amita Patel Brow Balm’ this encourages hair growth, nourishes, conditions and tames the brow, can also be used on the lashes.”

Amita has been sought after by the number 1 cosmetic brand, Esteè Lauder, and was asked for her expertise to be applied in the brow sector for one of their amazing brands.

She has also worked with Aveda” Clinique and Esteè Lauder products creating beautiful brows for associates at Esteè Lauder HQ with proceeds going to different Charities they support.

Working alongside the infamous ‘Jade Goody’ Beauty Salon ‘Ugly’s’ in Hertfordshire, Amita impressed many clients and appeared on National TV programmes including, Just Jade, Pop Goes The Band (UK Living TV), ‘It’s all about Amy’ Eggheads (BBC2), Cash in the Attic (BBC1) and the Katie Price Show. I had the pleasure of training up Katie Price and Amy Childs to do brows too!

Amita’s bespoke brow treatment has been enjoyed by a number of celebrities, supermodels, TV presenters and clients, at the colour specialist salon, FOUR London in Mayfair. Having transformed many a famous brow, including most of the cast of Hollyoaks, Alesha Dixon, Anna Williamson, Samantha Barks, Heather Headley, Helen Fospero, Brooke Kinsella, X Factor contestants and many more.

“Perfecting my brow prowess working with clients who had ‘plucked their brows to an inch of their life’, I immediately saw how the right shape, colour and a sweep of the brow brush could make a huge difference; opening, lifting the eye area and giving a more youthful appearance to the face. Concentrating on honing my technique, I have refined each brow shape and now have a vast ‘library’ of brows that offer a totally bespoke service to my clients.”

Amita is a freelance consultant and teaches worldwide, trending throughout the beauty industry as a ‘must have beauty treatment’. She is also committed to training the next generation of brow devotees.

“Brow shaping is not unique in itself, but I believe what I do and what I teach is. The right brow shape, depth, length is a creative art form, designed to enhance your appearance.”
